Biography

Dale saw firsthand the value of responsibility and hard work as he grew up in the construction and development business of his Father. He worked at other part time jobs while in High School and College. The work ethic developed from this experience continues to influence him as he works as the Principal Broker of Washburn & Associates, a Real Estate Brokerage firm.

Dale has worked for over thirty years in the real estate business. He is now focusing on representing the Buyers in a Real Estate transaction, which has not been common in Middle Georgia previously. Dale feels that the buyers in a transaction can benefit greatly from represntation which is focused on THEIR needs in the transaction instead of the seller's. He is a past President of the Middle Georgia Association and past Vice-President of the Georgia Association of Realtors. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Realtors. He has taught a variety of courses in Real Estate over the years around the state of Georgia, including courses in Ethics for a number of Realtor® Associations. Dale has taught literally hundreds of real estate professionals over the years.

In 1992 Dale was named the Middle Georgia Association of Realtors Realtor of the year. In 2004 he was honored as the Georgia Realtor of the Year.
